Unfair Affiliate Program - Refused to pay earned commissions!
I joined the SciSpace affiliate program and successfully generated $79.08 in commissions by bringing in genuine, paying customers. I promoted them through a legitimate YouTube tutorial and a comprehensive SEO article on my software review website. However, when it was time to withdraw my earnings, they suddenly disabled my account and refused to pay the $79.08 I had already earned. Their excuse? They claimed that my website is a "general software review site" and therefore doesn't align with their guidelines. This is a completely unreasonable excuse to deny a payout after the sales were already made and the customers had paid. If you are an affiliate marketer, I strongly advise you to AVOID promoting SciSpace. They will gladly take the paying customers you bring them, but they will find any excuse to void your commissions and block your account. Save your time and effort for companies that actually value their partners.

Thank you for sharing this. We would like to provide a little context. We call our partners Ambassadors rather than affiliates because the programme is designed around genuine content made for and by researchers who create dedicated walkthroughs, tutorials, and honest assessments that help someone understand how SciSpace fits their research. That focus means the programme isn't a fit for every kind of site or format, and content built mainly around the promotion of affiliate links and discount codes falls outside what we're able to support. Our guidelines describe this with full transparency during the application stage, before anyone signs up. We request every applicant to read those guidelines before signing up, so the same expectations are clear to everyone from the start. A lot of our Ambassadors invest real time in producing thorough, original work, and applying the guidelines consistently is how we keep the programme fair to all of them. In this case, the promotion sits outside these guidelines, so we're unfortunately not able to continue. Thank you for your kind understanding
