Reply from Xtreme Lashes by Jo MousselliSep 2, 2020
Dear Christina,
We regret that you were not satisfied with the number of lashes you received from the Lashista® student that applied to you. Students learning how to apply eyelash extensions are instructed to focus on safety, sanitation and hygiene and “Accuracy is more important than speed. And, perfect practice makes perfect lashes” according to Jo Mousselli. Applying fewer eyelash extensions with precision, safety and sanitation in mind is more important for beginner lash stylists as their speed will come with future practice. However, if they are working too fast and focusing on speed, they will develop poor habits that will be difficult to break in the future.
Furthermore, we disclose to all models NOT to expect a full set of lashes, and in fact, we offer models a $50 product credit for serving as a model.
Please note the excerpt from the email we sent to you on June 24, 2020 at 12:24 PM, which according to our records, you opened multiple times on the same day. As you can you see, we fully disclosed to you not to expect a full set. We realize you may have overlooked the following statement from the email that we sent to you on June 24, 2020.
Excerpt from June 24, 2020 email that we sent to you:
“We expect that you will have some length and volume added to your eyelashes, but please be aware that we cannot guarantee that you will receive a full set of lash extensions.”
Again, we regret to learn that you were not satisfied with the number of lashes that you received. It is very common for beginners to apply less than ten lashes per eye during their first lash application. We hope that you enjoyed your $50 product credit that you received for supporting the Lashista® student that applied extensions to you.
