The service charged me and said you would be able to cancel online at sign-up. There is no cancel online. It is purposefully deceitful, and id like to get aa refund and help canceling my service. I am not able to call.

Absolute scam. I don’t even know how i started getting charged. I never signed up for their services. It’s nearly impossible to cancel. You can only do so by phone which takes forever. Then they ask you for an insane amount of personal information to “confirm” your account. If you try to provide the account number and year of birth only, which should be more than sufficient, they say there’s inconsistencies so they need more info such as last four of social, address, email, etc. I’m fairly sure they never had my personal information to begin with since I never signed up with them. Awful company. Stay away!

They charge you high premiums every month for information you can obtain on your own. Yes it includes identity theft insurance, but I have no guarantees on how dependable it is. You can only cancel by contacting customer service, there's no way to do it online and if you don't cancel just in time, they still charge you for the next full month, but if you still cancel it then they take the month away from you that you just paid for. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Do not use this service! This company costs is much higher than its competitors, it does not provide a free credit report or account details like its competitors (makes you pay for a report) and worst of all they make it impossible to cancel the subscription. There is not an online cancelation option, they make you call and then harass you about canceling. In addition, the monitoring did not pick up credit card defaults, credit card settlements, or a new collection.

They do not allow you to cancel through their site, but they have few working days and hours plus long holds. Once you reach them, they will drag the call out for over 20 minutes trying to convince you to stay or take their other products. Once you cancel your benefits stop immediately but they have a strict no-refund policy. If they themselves believe that the product they offer is worth customers, they would not have resorted to this way of tricking you into being charged.

For a company that is there to protect you, they call and use phishing to confirm your identity. Isn't that what you advise against?

Misleading, untruthful, and outright malicious. They get you in with a free trial and make it as difficult, if not impossible to cancel their overpriced subscription. Which is nothing more than open source information that one can find by way of Google. This is a scam. They charge people for literally doing nothing. Im reporting them for theft and fraud for charging my account when they never had permission to do so. In response... There is no cancel button. None. That is a bold faced lie
