Pinecone researchReviews of pineconeresearch.com

This is such a junk company. They offered $5 for signup. Never have me that. They also never loaded 1 single survey, when I asked them about it, they deactivated my account and said that I lied on a survey. Save yourself the time and stay away from this company.

I took part in two product evalution surveys where I was sent products to try and had to give feedback. When I completed the first one and spent 20 minutes on it, giving detailed feedback, I got to the end and it said I didn't qualify despite testing the product. I thought this was because I didn't like the product and was honest, but then I got another product evalution survey. Again, I did the survey and yet again, at the end it said I didn't qualify. What, for two products I qualified to test? It made no sense. I contacted Pinecone customer service and explained and was rewarded for the first but I am still waiting to get my reward from the second survey. Don't think the companies who enlist Pinecone to get people to test their products will be happy that testers are treated so badly. Hoping this is some kind of bug.

This site was once excellent to do surveys. When I started doing surveys with Pinecone Research, it paid by physical check which could be claimed after completing one survey. It replaced the checks with bank transfer which was replaced by Paypal which was replaced by virtual card which expires after six months of activation and can't be used some places online. When I first started, the surveys were few but reliable. Maybe a year ago, third parties were allowed to offer surveys which I find hard to qualify for them and not worth the poor award for time spent. I would recommend avoiding this site. If I hadn't done surveys with it for many years, I wouldn't do surveys. Pinecone Research doesn't appear to care about its reputation.

Spent a week getting to the 1000 points. They obviously cant add. It's a scam. UPDATE:7/4.2026 THEY fixed the issue. 4 stars.

Don't waste your time. This site is awful.

I am an avid survey taker. After my experience with Pinecone Research I recommend against working with Pinecone research. I completed a 35 minute survey and did not get my reward. Additionally, when I did turn in my first reward I only received a percentage of the reward. Lastly, when I wrote their Support Team about both issues, I got no response. Do not work wit Pinecone Research.

Used to be well worth my time but like everything change happens. For a month now I received notification after notification sometime duplicates to get full message. I even trapped opportunities as they opened together the same.
