PowerBlock, Inc. was founded in 1991 by specialty fitness equipment designers who became friends while designing equipment for several companies including Parabody and Cybex. While searching for specific needs in the fitness industry, they were drawn to the large amounts of dumbbells they would encounter in the specialty fitness stores they visited. There had to be a better way of providing fitness enthusiasts with the performance advantage of hand weights without the space and restrictions of old fashioned racks and dumbbells. It was here the idea for PowerBlock was born. After two years of extensive testing, PowerBlock began sales of the newly coined "selectorized dumbbell". Since then, PowerBlock has continued to be the leader in the fitness industry as we constantly strive to out do ourselves in the pursuit of excellence.

I just received my new weights and I am very happy with them. It is a pleasure only having to deal with weights in various sizes all in one weight.

I love these dumbbells! Until I got my PowerBlock Sport 24 Set I was using 10s and 5s, the only dumbbells available in my home. I knew I needed to upgrade but I hated the idea of getting separate sets, especially since I'm a minimalist and it's all about the less the better. Got my PowerBlocks just before the new year so I was able to start off 2017 strong. It's so easy to change the weights, I love the compactability, the size and shape, everything. I feel like I'm a pro at exercising because I'm using these amazing, top of the line dumbbells and I don't need to fill my whole workout space with multiple sets. Best purchase I've ever made. Will definitely get PowerBlocks in the future when I need to up my weights again.

Powerblock dumbbells are a great addition to my home gym. Quick and easy to use and also highly adjustable. I'll be buying some of the other accessories soon which made these a perfect choice. They shipped faster than I thought too.

So happy with this purchase! Ordered them 6 days before Christmas and they in time for Christmas. The construction is sturdy and instructions are straight forward and simple. They are exactly what they advertise. The pin is made of hard plastic, which worries me, but I'm sure they have tested them. This saves so much room of so many weights.

We are ecstatic that we were able to get them to you in time for Christmas! If you are worried about our pin's reliability, we are more than happy to let you know that all of our Composite Flex pins are rated for up to 500 pounds! These pins, by far, have out-performed our steel-based pins that we used to use. So please rest easy. If you have any concerns, please feel free to give us a call at: 800-446-5215
