PowerBlock, Inc. was founded in 1991 by specialty fitness equipment designers who became friends while designing equipment for several companies including Parabody and Cybex. While searching for specific needs in the fitness industry, they were drawn to the large amounts of dumbbells they would encounter in the specialty fitness stores they visited. There had to be a better way of providing fitness enthusiasts with the performance advantage of hand weights without the space and restrictions of old fashioned racks and dumbbells. It was here the idea for PowerBlock was born. After two years of extensive testing, PowerBlock began sales of the newly coined "selectorized dumbbell". Since then, PowerBlock has continued to be the leader in the fitness industry as we constantly strive to out do ourselves in the pursuit of excellence.

Awesome bench and dip bar attachment, arrived really fast in a sturdy box with easy to lift handles. I was very impressed with how powerblock sent this to me. I would highly recommend their products to anyone working out. Very good quality & great customer service!!!

I bought my Sport Block 5.0 on 4/16/2015. My father-in-law had the set and I loved how compact their 50lbs dumbells were. I have used them ever since I bought them and have absolutely loved them and would buy them again! I am now looking to purchase the weight stand for the weights so they are at the perfect level for me. I just recently had one of the plates break at the weld and the weight stack torqued. I called customer service and talked with Alec. He was extremely helpful and quick to respond, and so was PowerBlock. They are replacing one handle set to make sure my weights are working properly. I completely recommend PowerBlock over any other brand because they were one of the first and their product is less bulky and much better for me when lifting.

For a home gym this is a way to go. I bought the urethane 90lb set with stand. Stand was easy to put together . I also bought a powertec multi system and what i can't do on the multi system i can do with the power blocks. Great combo weight room. I am a college strength/throwing coach at a power 5 . Very happy with both. John Smith

Probably the best product of its kind available. Very high standards of quality and truly excellent customer service. I have a 10+ year old set that I wanted to restore and the response from their support staff (Alec) was not only swift but extremely helpful. I was able to order replacement stickers and color bands for a model that hasn't even been sold for more than a decade. All for what you might pay for lunch. Kudos! Thanks again! Darren

Love the weights, and customer service was very helpful and easy to reach! The transition from weight increments is easy, and they take up minimal space with the stand. Nice addition to my home gym.
