There were a number of errors or misconceptions made with my paperwork which resulted in a delay of funding. I sometimes felt that I was a victim of the process rather than being guided through by a loan officer.

I was forced to go to RMF since my initial reverse mortgage at GMFS was acquired by RMF within the first year without my knowledge or consent. I've never had any major issues with them but some of their customer service representatives needs an attitude adjustment.

Took out loan several years ago and recently refinanced. All went very smoothly with efficient and courteous agents. Only gripe was not being able to access data and get advances online, which has now been corrected with good online access.

While a longer process than we anticipated (little more than 50 days), we are truly satisfied with the resulting mortgage. Our agent was exceptional in helping us through the application process and follow up details through closing. Although details are too involved to list here, our agent did everything in her power to expedite our loan. We definitely recomment RMF.

My loan officer, Andrew Colamartino is the utmost professional. He is very knowledgeable, scrupulously honest, reliable and competent; in a nutshell, he and RMF made the process easy. I highly recommend them.

Karen White is a gem! She was on my side the whole time with answers to questions and cheery phone calls. I will probably never do this again, but if I did, she's the one I'd call!

This program is good yet very expensive for the borrower. You can get access to non taxable home equity funds at a big cost. This was a refi and felt an overreach of the process this time around was too much. There were good & disappointing features. Yet I was able to hang in there and now the process is over and a bit scary looking into the future. I had a very good experience with the the RMF Specialist, keeping me posted on the next steps... very attentive to detail and easy to work with. Also Specialist was available to answer questions, or locate an answer if needed.
