PowerBlock, Inc. was founded in 1991 by specialty fitness equipment designers who became friends while designing equipment for several companies including Parabody and Cybex. While searching for specific needs in the fitness industry, they were drawn to the large amounts of dumbbells they would encounter in the specialty fitness stores they visited. There had to be a better way of providing fitness enthusiasts with the performance advantage of hand weights without the space and restrictions of old fashioned racks and dumbbells. It was here the idea for PowerBlock was born. After two years of extensive testing, PowerBlock began sales of the newly coined "selectorized dumbbell". Since then, PowerBlock has continued to be the leader in the fitness industry as we constantly strive to out do ourselves in the pursuit of excellence.

I recently ordered a set of small Powerblock dumb bells. I am very satisfied with the design and the convenience they provide. They are easy to workout with, and also easy to transport. I will be ordering from Powerblock again and recommending them to others as well.

Great company, even better products. Don't hesitate. My only complaint is that I didn't buy sooner

I’m not big on promoting companies, but this is going to be an exception. I purchased a pair of PowerBlock dumbbells a year ago on eBay to replace my dumbbell rack. I ended up buying extensions to make them go from 90lbs ea to 130lbs. Those extensions came and didn’t fit. I emailed PowerBlock. They replied quickly. Within a day I received an email saying that they are sending me a brand new pair of PowerBlock 90s that will work with the 130lbs kit. This company goes the extra mile. PowerBlocks are the greatest dumbbell, provided by an exceptional company.

Both the pull up bar and dip extensions are made of quality material but the pull up bar when attached to the bench feels a little wobbly, but still functional.

I do not have a lot of room for exercise equipment, and I also do not have a lot of time to exercise. PowerBlock is the solution for me. It takes up very little space while giving me a fine range of weights. With PowerBlock, I spend my exercise time exercising with many different weight amounts, and I spend very few seconds changing the weights. Changing weights is fast. My cholesterol is still too high. But through diet and exercise, I have established a favorable trend. Each test of the last three tests shows significantly better cholesterol and triglycerides without drugs. After one test, my doctor diagnosed me as diabetic. My blood sugar has also trended better and better. The latest three tests show my blood sugar under control without any drugs. My doctor no longer considers me diabetic. Exercising 2 or 3 times per week helped, but not much. I was only able to get the results by using PowerBlock for a few moments 4 to 6 times or more per day. There's too many details about how I use PowerBlock to say everything here. So, you still need to consult fitness experts, doctors, and do your own research. Needless to say, I am pleased with how PowerBlock has made me healthier.

I own a powerblock u50 set, and enjoy this super product in my home gym. I had a small cosmetic problem (weight stickers came off...) and mailed the customers service asking where can I buy a new set. Got an immediate reply and the stickers were sent to me (overseas...) free of charge. So now I can say that powerblock is a super product with a super service.

Awesome product! These barbells are easy to use and super tough. Mine are 70 lbs each, as I have added the 20 lb add ons. These are the best adjustable dumbbells money can buy, hands down! I know the bowflex are technically competition, but trust me they're not even in the same league. Do it right the first time and buy the only set of dumbbells you'll ever buy again.

Unfortunately I never received my powerblock! The delivery was 4 says late although I had paid extra for 3-5 day delivery. Delivery time was essential because my husband was going to take the PB with him when traveling back home from LA. So now we are without PB and therefore very disappointed. Gladly the return of the money went smoothly.

Thank you for taking the time to review our product. We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with your recent transaction and we would be more than happy to explore possible solutions with you. After doing some research on our end, we found that your PowerBlocks did not ship because the transaction in question was never accepted. An email was sent to you on November 2nd notifying you of the declined transaction. Based on that information, I cannot explain why the blocks were 4 days late. Also, PowerBlock does not offer expedited shipping services for any of our products and standard delivery time typically falls within 7-10 business days. If there was some information on our website that led you to believe otherwise, we would greatly appreciate it if you could bring it to our attention so that other customers will not be confused or mislead. I am happy to hear that you were satisfied with your refund, but it would be imprudent of us to assume credit for that since we did not have any funds to refund. We are hoping that you can provide us with more information so that we can help prevent other customers from encountering the same issues that you did.
