12 foot section of handrail was not well packed and was slightly damaged by freight shipping. Perhaps a shipper issue, but annoying when paying a premium for freight shipping. More concerning: The newel posts that I purchased primed did not appear to have been fully sanded. There were saw marks and sharp edges. There were also cuts that needed to be filled before painting. The balusters that I paid to have painted had drips and do not appear to have been fully painted before sanding. Update 4/20/206 - Shawn reached out and was genuinely concerned about the challenges I experience and dove in to make it right. Can't ask for much more.
